Personal Development Association 2009. To preface this post, my little brother is in 9th grade and we (me, Danny, Whit, and Megan) went to an assembly he was in a couple of days ago. Well going back to "the middle school era" really took Danny back in time. He re counted all of his middle school experiences with me, girls he kissed, AND then talked for awhile about how he was in band with Steve Kats and played the saxaphone. On our way home he was silent (his mind was churning and I knew that he was up to something), out of nowhere we had the following conversation:
Danny(talking really enthuastically): Tell me what you think of this idea, I'm thinking of creating a really sweet thing called PDA, Personal Development Association. We will create a blog and we will just work on personal things/talents that we want to learn. We will have performances every month to show our progress and then concerts every 6 months. Anyone can participate if they want to. I already know of a couple of guys that would love to get in on this.
Me: Ok. Sure. Whatever you want. What are you going to work on?
Danny: Well this is pretty much how my mornings are going to be from now on:
8:30-9:00 feed Whitney and play time
9:00-9:30 Personal study time. Scriptures/ books
9:30-10:00 Practice the Saxaphone
10:00-10:30 Learn Spanish/ piano
10:30 Go to work.
Me: Cool. Sounds great!
I didn't think that he was REALLY being serious. Danny's mind is in constant fast forward spurring off sometimes crazy random thoughts and ideas and so I just thought it was another one of those "conversations" that we have. Well, was I wrong! On our way home we had to stop off at a music store so that he could buy a saxaphone book to start practicing. When we got home, first thing, pulled out the saxaphone and went to work! He practiced for 1 1/2 hours and then practiced for an additional 45 minutes the following day. Cute, Dan.
So, I guess he was being serious and if anyone wants in on the PDA of 2009 let us know!(Danny has already created the blog.) So far there are 2 members, me and Danny and I guess Whitney as she develops her crawling/ walking techniques. As for me, I will be praticing the piano and will probably be learning a saxaphone/piano duet for Christmas. Sure do love my cute husband! ;)

One Fine Day-
Whit and I had a great day yesterday with lots of surpises! I'm not big on "bragging" but I will admit I have a pretty sweet hubby! I don't know what got into him, but he was definetly on top of his game yesterday! I don't know who he talked to or what happened to him but whatever/whoever it was, keep it coming! We woke up with breakfast (although that is not entirely unusual. He cooks me breakfast at least 3 times a week), then he changed a poopy diaper and bathed the baby (again, not unusual. He does that all of the time!). He did have to go into work, but was sick so he came home early which was nice to have a night with him! I had to run a few errands and when I got home he surprised me with flowers-- Gerber Daisies, my favorite, and he was reading a book called "Growing a Girl". If anyone knows Danny and REALLY knows Danny if he has any "down time" reading is not on top of his list of fun things to do. I love reading and loves when he reads so it was a pleasant surprise! The night even got better, instead of Monday Night Football (which is like sacred at our house), I mentioned that it was family night and he was all excited and totally participated full fledged with no complaining. AND----- No I'm not done, he actually watched The Hills with me and he HATES!!!!!! (I mean hates- refuses to watch- have anything to do with- that type of hate) The Hills. All the while, we just cuddled and he didn't even try to pull a "sweet dude" move on me! Cute, Danny! Thanks babe for making my day so great! I love ya!
Here are a few random pictures that have nothing to do with this post, but cute pic's of my little lover:

Danny's Birthday, St. George, & Arizona

ARIZONA! Visiting Jared, Ang, & Lilee Jo-

It was so fun to see Jared and Ang! We miss them lots and they are such great new parents! Lilee already has a huge closet full of clothes. She is going to be very stylish just like her momma!
We had a great week! I soaked in the warm weather in St. George and Arizona, it was fabulous. Danny told Rob and Ali that my body was so white that my bottom is "see through" SOOO I was excited to just lay out at the pool and get a little bit of sun!

Fall Festival
Every year our ward has a Fall Festival that the youth and activities committee put on. We have activities around the gym that the little kids can do and they get lots of candy! There are also lots good soups that everyone brings. We had a lot of fun this year and there were some great costumes! I initially didn't wear a costume (I know I'm way boring) but then Megan came and brought me a duck costume that my mom found in her Halloween stuff. Couldn't have been a better costumer to find! So, we had momma duck and baby duck, now we just need to find a daddy duck!
If you can't tell, Whit is a baby duck! :) So cute!
I loved this picture of Mitchell! He is thinks he is really tough in his costume!
The DuPaix bunch. Edie was kind enough to let us use her camera for all the picture taking and Stephen was great with the picture taking! :)

What we've been up to-
It has been a long while since I have updated our blog. It always frustrates me when other people don't update their blog, so I am being a major hypocrite! We haven't been doing much lately except for working so their isn't much to blog about. Whit is 6 months old, it's crazy how fast time flies! She is sitting up, talking lots, rolling over, & tries to scoot. We have her 6 month appt today so I'll keep everyone posted on what she is weighing in at. But here are a few pic's from this last month on what we have been up to:
We LOVE Sunday afternoons! It's our only day that we actually get to spend time together!
We went to my brother Parker's football game. He scored 3 touchdowns! Go Parker!
Aaron was in town for 2 weeks so we spent a lot of time with him and Megan. It was SOOOOO much fun to have him around!
Just playing at work!
We went to St. George with the Young Women in our ward and did baptisms for the dead, went to Cove Fort, and stayed at my family's condo. It was a lot of fun to spend some time with them!
