Today, My Perfectly Hidden Gem

Today was not the best of days, but it wasn't the worst.
 I lost my patience a couple of times and Danny worked until 9 PM.
But despite all that, there were moments of sweet serenity leaving me feeling refreshed and inspired to be a better person and mom.

We started out with Whitney. Last week we went to the dentist and she had 6 cavities. Awesome.
This week we had to fill the cavities on just 1 side.
She did GREAT in the dentist office, but lost it the second we got in the car.
Cried for a good 2 hours.
Not because she was in pain, but she didn't like the filling of being numb.
We stopped at Jamba Juice and Red Box in which she picked out the Great and Powerful Oz..

..Which leads us to this. After the show, she was feeling much better so she decided to dress herself and Hank up as evil witches and ride around the house on brooms.

Later in the evening, for FHE, the kids and I found a HIDDEN GEM RIGHT IN OUR BACKYARD! {Ok not literally, but just up the street.}
We found a perfectly little park with a perfectly little stream and a perfectly little walk way which basically ended our day, perfectly.

On our walk the kids found snails.
They love snails.
They collected and brought home about 20.

Snail searchin'.

A perfectly beautiful night.
Feeling ultra grateful today for the beauty all around, but most importantly for the beauty in my 2 perfect creations.
