San Diego

We went to San Diego and tagged along with Danny on a business trip. We went with the Sean and Shell Davis clan and had a great time!  For the first week we stayed at a beach house in Oceanside. The kids had such a fun time playing at the beach. The first day that we went out Whit kept saying over and over, "This is the best day ever!" I love her.

We went  to Old Town in San Diego, walked around and went to the Mormon Battalion Center. Way cool and such a fun atmosphere.
 

DISNEYLAND
I had really wanted to go to Disneyland but had a hard time selling Danny on the idea. However, once he found out that the Neilson family was going he was all in! We tagged along with them and had a blast.
 Although we got drenched from the rain, it's still the happiest place on earth! I LOVE DISNEYLAND! And it's 10 x's funner with kids. Whit smiled ear to ear the whole time and they both loved riding on all the rides. With the rain, came fewer people and short lines so that was fantastic! I can't wait to go back.

 

 

 

 

We went  to La Jolla and saw a lot of sea lions just loungin around and we also walked around the San Diego temple.

At the end of our trip we stayed in a hotel for a couple of days while the boys worked.
Hank's sleeping quarters was the bathroom. ..He didn't seem to mind. :)

Weekly Update

This last week..
 We missed dad a lot and skyped often.

Once a month we get together with my highschool friends for a playdate with the kiddos. Alissa hosted this month and the kids had fun playing together. I have loved getting together with my friends. It is fun to catch up on everyone's lives!

Whitney's preschool teacher, Aubrey Doyle, is a really good friend of mine in our ward. She is a fabulous teacher and they always come home with the cutest preschool creations. Here are just a couple of the preschool crafts she made this week:

Our family of 3.. missing Danny but we will see him in a little over a week! Can't wait!

We went to Jump Around Utah (a bounce place) with the family and had a good time!

Kristen hosted our monthly girls night out. It was low key and intimate and the food was delicious. Both kids got to come and Whit was so excited all day long. I don't think she has ever been to one so she was pretty pumped- and really good!

We had a slumber party.

Hank lasted about 5 minutes and then was off. 

I lasted about 1 hour then went to bed.

Jess woke up about 1ish and headed downstairs.

And Ms. Whit she lasted the longest but still eventually ended up in my bed.

But the winner was 'Scala' the pink horse who slept on her pillow the whole night!!

Zoe had her first experience taking a bath with Whit and Hank. I think she liked it!
